Discover the enchanting Karashka, a fully equipped, self-catering, authentic guesthouse nestled in the heart of Central Bulgaria.
Built in 1921, this delicately restored old house boasts a blend of tradition and comfort, ideal for up to 7 guests seeking an immersive experience in Bulgaria's breathtaking landscapes.
Crafted with natural materials like stone, clay, and wood, and topped with a stone roof that whispers tales from the 19th century, Karashka invites you to step back in time while enjoying modern comforts. Inside, Karashka offers a cozy and warm environment, perfect for relaxation and communal meals.
The ground floor houses a well-equipped kitchen, alongside a dining and living area designed for convivial gatherings.
Ascend to the upper floor, and find three charming bedrooms and a bathroom, all crafted to ensure a restful night's sleep.
For those requiring a little extra space, the barn has been transformed into an additional studio for two, making the guesthouse ideal for up to 7 people. The exterior of Karashka is just as inviting.
Set against a backdrop of large forests, the property sits on a southern slope at approximately 500 meters altitude, rewarding guests with spectacular views of the Stara Planina's majestic peaks, including Botev, Kademlya, and Maragidik.
The house itself radiates the spirit of the past, with its natural materials blending seamlessly into the lush surroundings, inviting guests to explore or simply bask in the tranquil beauty of the Bulgarian countryside. Karashka is located in Selishte village, near the town of Apriltsi, placing guests at the doorstep of the Central Balkan National Park—one of Europe's largest and most significant protected areas.
Despite its rural and serene setting, the house is easily accessible via the Sevlievo-Apriltsi road, which winds through the mountainous region with its narrow paths and sharp turns.
This location is not only perfect for those eager to discover the Central Balkan National Park but also offers a haven for guests seeking privacy, tranquility, and a deep connection with nature. Embrace the unique charm of Karashka, where time stands still, and every corner tells a story.
Whether you're an adventure seeker looking to explore the rugged beauty of the Central Balkan National Park or someone longing for a secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Karashka offers the perfect blend of historical elegance and natural beauty.
